ALL ABOUT EMMI: 7 month update

AGE: 7 months

WEIGHT: i honestly haven't got a clue LOL

HEIGHT: again no clue, I'm such a good mammy ;)

SLEEPING: Sleeping through the night is totally gone out the drain!! I can't complain, she will whinge for her dodo & fall straight back to sleep, or her bottle which she holds herself in the bed, which is the exact same as what kayden did at this age LOL. Still not quite the napper, will sometimes got 1-2hours, but will sleep 2-3 hours if i go to nap with her.

TEETH: Still no teeth, dribbles like crazy, & puts everything, and I mean everything to her mouth!! 

PLAYING: Id say in the last month, she's been playing more more and getting more interested in her surroundings, such as the jumparoo Santa got her for christmas, She LOVES playing in it, aswell as her mama & papas seat that has a toy tray attached. Also will laugh at kayden for hours even if kayden is just looking at her. She adores her big brother so much! pretty much the only person to make her laugh uncontrollably!! 

PERSONALITY: She is a nutcase! wound up to the last LOL!! Wants content attention, and for people to notice her. She will cry if you turn your back to her and she definitely knows her mammy will put her up if she keeps crying LOL. Emilee has been making strange to a few people, but soon warms up after a while. Ive noticed she will look at me or Pietro if she feels upset/distressed and thats when I usually take her back and then she's fine, just stare the crap out of them haha! She will talk for Ireland in the morning, around 6am-9am is when she wakes up and honestly will lie there having a good aul chat to herself! which is so freaking adorable. Also Emilee loves the camera, I usually take OOTD posts for instagram (@aislingrachel) which she loves :)

CURRENT CLOTHING SIZE: She is in 6-9 month clothes, still in 3-6month clothes vests/tees and some leggings.

DIAPER SIZE: in size 3 nappies. Had our first leak in the morning but thats only as she didn't wake up through the night for mammy to change her nappy.

WORDS: Lots of Oooo's and aaaa's, I've heard a few 'mam' but not classing it as she's saying my name just yet. constantly moving her jaw to try her best to talk but nothing comes out. Is full of chat in the mornings & just before bedtime when she's getting dressed.

RECENT MILESTONES: rolling over, sucking her big toe LOL, She is finally sitting up on her own but is still abit unstable so I usually sit behind her. Emilee loves giving kisses and hugs!!

Emilee is now fully on solids, 4 meals a day. 

I tend to keep her meals the same for one week so her digestive system gets used to it, also I've heard that a baby has to try a new food about ten times to like it!

heres her meal plan.

Breakfast 10am-11am - instant porridge 

Lunch 1pm - 2pm - one vegetable (this week is sweet potato)

Dinner 5pm-7pm - One vegetable (still have frozen carrots from last week so I'm using them up)

supper 8pm-9pm - instant porridge

& to mention she has about four 7oz bottles of formula a day! 

The vegetables Emilee has tried are; carrots, broccoli, avocado, sweet potato and butternut squash.

I wash, peel & steam the vegetable (if needed to be cooked) and then throw then into a jug and hand blend them into a puree. 

In the next coming weeks, I will be adding fruit for lunch, not sure what to start of with first as i dont want to give her something very sweet and have her throw off her veggies :(

Ive also had this idea of juicing fruits & veg for her beaker. Has anyone tried it with their babies? and how did you introduce the juice? I'd love to hear :)

WHERE HAVE I BEEN?!

It's been about three months since I've last blogged I'd say.... Ooops!!! Part was being hectic and the other part was that I just lost total interest in blogging :(!! I was in a constant writers block and I was finding it very hard to juggle two kids, a job, and I guess my private life.

So, where what I have been up to in the last three months?!? Well, first of I got my first job.. YAY!! it was only a job for christmas as Emilee was only four months old and well, I needed to get my ass into gear.  I felt so cooped up at home all day that I felt I needed a change, and well I went and got a job to see if it would help me. and it did!!

Many would love to stay at home with their babies, but I felt that I needed to see if I was more of a working momma or a stay at home momma...?! and still to this point, I have no idea haha!! maybe a part time job after Emilee turns 1, but beggars can't be chooser so I guess ill just go with the flow.

So, as my job was pretty much full time after four weeks, I barely got to have time with my babies let alone blog, so I pretty much forgot about blogging and focused on work. Then my contract ended, and I was truly gutted, I fell into a little hole where I just wanted to stay at home.. (The one reason for getting that job)

Its been a month since my contract ended, and I'm just about getting used to being a stay at home momma again. Emilee is so more active and Kayden, well he's a little nutcase/teenager.

We have been making plans to move AGAIN!!!! (Ugh!) Which is in about two weeks, so we've been painting & sorting out our new home. Praying this is the last time until we have our own home to move into :)!

So between working, moving and adjusted to being a mumma of two my blogging has really felt left out!! hopefully I will change that from here on in :D

Ive got a little notebook from TK MAX, so ill be jotting down ideas for blogs, crafts, and hopefully some baby recipes as Emilee is on stickily homemade meals!! and she's loving it, Her favourite meal so far is Sweet Potato and Carrots!! She hasn't tried much as she's only 7 months old and has been on solids for about three weeks, so what I am doing is giving her one vegetable a week and then ill start mixing vegetable and other foods! Exciting :)

And I've also noticed, Kayden has an imaginary friend who he talks to all day!! Its pretty freaky but I guess he's happy!! haha! He constantly gives out to him for doing bold things and comes running to me telling on him, which I have no idea how to react, other than being freaked out haha!!

This what happens when I blog, i just ramble on and I've no idea where this blog is going haha!

Emilee's One Month Update

I can't even come to terms that my little girl is already One Month old :(

She currently is weighting 9pounds 10oz! 

And I haven't measured her length yet :)

She is still being breastfed plus the odd top-up with formula!

Breastfeeding is going well, I breastfed in public for the first time this week. It was a little bit daunting but it was a success! I used a cover given to me by a friend, so i was well covered up. But to me coving up makes it so more noticeable and people stare more! but I wouldn't go bare breast on show haha! 

Im currently trying to increase my supply so i can't cancel out formula altogether! 

She has fussy hours between 11-half 1 at night, I think this is due to wind gathering during the day and her being over tired! but once she settles she sleeps until 7 in the morning. 

She loves staring at lights or the windows, And she has starting to focus more on my face during feds.

AND.. She smiled at me :D Proud momma moment :)

Emilee loves being close, so I'm planning on baby wearing! Ive researched lots of baby wraps, but most are from the US and the shipping charge costs as much as the wrap. So i've found a wrap in Boots which it looks like I will get it. Its called the Caboo carrier and the reviews are looking good :) 

She is currently in up to one month clothes, but still fitting into newborn vests. 

Not else much to say as she just sleeps, eats, poops and repeats :P !!

My recovery is slowing down a bit.

Ive been experiencing very bad back pain. Its mainly in the lower part of my back. 

I thought this was due to after effects of the epidural, but I've been told its because I'm on my feet all day and my back id still very weak that it is being strained. So from that I'm trying to rest a little more. Not pick up anything heavier that Emilee!

35 week bumpdate!

How far along? 35 weeks & 3 days :D
Weight Gain: Pretty much haven't gained anything this pregnancy. I'm putting it all down to the diabetes, My weight is levelling out really. I'd loss a pound or two but the next week I would gain it back. The doctor really isn't concerned as the baby is growing and has a good heart beat. 

Maternity clothes: NOT looking forward to when the hot weather comes in.. (I say 'when' as its Ireland and we never know when the sun will be out haha) I'm loving the cool rainy weather as I'm already warm just wearing a tee and trackies. Im doomed for hot weather haha

Stretch marks? Found a new one just starting, Its at the spot where the baby kicks the most :)

Sleep: Nope. None. Nada. :'(

Best moment this week: Im ashamed to say... Home and away is back on TV :D Haha! 

Miss anything? Lying down without being struck hard with heartburn LOL! Its so bad lately, especially during night-time. Im living on rennies!!!

Any movement? Baby movement have slowed down a bit! I feel more stretches rather than kicks! I do think the baby has started to engage as I feel so much pressure, the movements are around my belly button instead of near my ribs lately! and I can feel hiccups right above my pubic bone! 

Cravings: Vicks & firelighters!!!! Vicks give me more of a relax feeling when i smell it (WEIRD) but its something I need to smell at night? I really can't explain it because it sounds so weird haha! I've also wanted cheerios and chocolate sponge cake with choc frosting & 

I CANT HAVE IT :( :(

sickness? Im feeling a little nausea lately for some reason. I assume its just my body getting ready for the birth. But the gagging is back at some foods or even just out of no where. I could cough and gag after? But i haven't physically got sick! 

Gender: We will know in 5 weeks :D:D

Labour Signs: I'm in so much pain :( Just even walking, I can feel the baby so so so low! I think my belly has dropped, or even just the baby because i've noticed the baby isn't propping its butt out above my belly button. I can push my hand where it used to be and feel the baby lower, much lower! Ive been cramping a lot lately, but nothing to be worried about! 

Symptoms: Heartburn, as usual LOL

Belly button in or out? In!

Happy or moody most of the time: Ahhh, a bit hormonal I have to say. Ive gotten to the point of just wanting to meet this baby!!! even thought i've nothing ready for the baby!!

Looking forward to: getting everything ready and set for the baby! I've really dragged it on at this stage so time to get my butt in action and sort out the house and my bags :) Things are moving quickly and i'm sure the next 5 weeks are going to fly :) 

I'm not looking forward to next week though! Pietro is away for work and I'm just praying this baby stays put until he's back LOL!

We also have a big scan in two weeks that will determine if i have to be introduced or not. So it could turn out that this baby will be here in the next two weeks or everything will be fine and the baby will come when its ready :) I'm a bit of a nervous wreck at the moment! 

Also the diabetes seems to be going okay, I don't need to go back to the diabetics clinic until I'm 39 weeks!! :)

AND I finally got a return date to go to the hospital, Honestly this pregnancy, the hospital has screwed up so much!! they are all over the place! but at least i'll see my pumpkin soon :)

How far along? 34 weeks :)
Weight gain: I've lost 2kg since my last hospital app. Its weird to have such a big belly but no weight is being gained? pretty sure its the diabetes that iIam losing weight but gaining it back it other ways so its levelling out... does that make sense? Haha

Maternity clothes: I hate clothes. tight clothes make me itchy and I just want to rip them off! wish I could get away with living in my Pjs for the next few weeks!

Stretch marks? No new ones :)

Sleep: Ugh.. remind what is that again? between bathroom breaks, being kicked in the bladder, dead legs.. I can't sleep :(

Best moment this week: IM FINISHED COLLEGE!! 

Miss anything? I just want chocolate cake.. just one slice.. one :(! Its so hard to resist chocolate or even just sugar on my cereal! Its so hard :(

Any movement? This baby doesn't sleep... ever!

Food cravings: Everything smells so dam good! even my hair after i wash it.. haha I'm going crazy!

sickness? Nope :)!

Gender: Surprise :)

Labour signs: braxton hicks contractions, mainly when I don't pee for a long time! but no pain and lasting a bit longer. I can feel the baby very low.. Definitely getting into place! 

Symptoms: Heartburn, foot cramps, tiredness, getting out of breath more frequently. Everything I do is a chore haha! 

Belly button in or out? In!

Happy or moody most of the time: In a good mood this week! Its a good feeling to be finished with college, but still in the mind frame of being a student (keep thinking of what is my next brief....)

Looking forward to: Packing my hospital bag :) starting to get things together and writing out lists on what to buy. Ive pretty much everything for the baby except mittens and socks! but have nothing for me.. so a shopping spree is needed ;) :D

TODDLER UPDATE!

Hey guys!

I was thinking of a blog post and thought to myself that i have done a toddler update in a very long time!

AGE: He is 1year & 10months as of today! another 2 months and he will be 2 :(

WEIGHT: Kayden was about 2 stone last month. Didn't get a chance to weight him this month yet.

HEIGHT: He is 33inches :) We actually got a wall sticker in Ikea that is a measuring chart! I love it! Great purchase!

SLEEPING: He sleeps straight through the night. Will go down after 9 and then will wake up around 9 also. If we are away for the day and he gets a late nap, he will go down later than usual but I wouldn't say he has a strict bedtime. Its usually around 9! And also he is in his own room which i think helps him sleep a lot better. as of recently he's nap time has been abandon a little, every now and again he does skip naps! which I'm going to find it hard to adjust as it is mammy time and i get most of the cleaning, washing and dinner done when he naps :(

TEETH: He has all his teeth apart from his four eye teeth, which i have noticed are just sitting above /below his gums, so in no time he will have them four! I was actually wondering when to bring him to the dentist as he does have a lot of teeth... I'm not sure though, he won't let the dentist go near him haha!

PLAYING: He very good at playing on his own when it is just him, but he also loves playing with other kids! Kayden is OBSESSED with football! like I mean obsessed. Its crazy how good he is at kicking the football and playing rugby for his age. There is no doubt he will be a sporty child, which means lots and lots of matches for Mammy & Daddy to go too :) 

PERSONALITY: Kayden is mostly a very happy toddler, but of course he has his tantrums and bursts of moodiness now and again. but it is easy to bring him away for the day or just stay at home! he loves his outings but is at that stage of not wanting to be in the buggy and wants to run around which is normal, but as a football fan he likes to dive onto the floor & it can get frustrating to get him to walk along side you! but I'm sure he will learn :)

CURRENT CLOTHING SIZE: He is currently in 1 1/2 year - 2 year clothing! he has a very narrow waist so most jeans/trousers might not fit him as well at his tops do! he is also outgrowing a size6 shoe!

DIAPER SIZE: Size 5/5+ at the moment.

WORDS: He will try to copy anything you say so i would say that his vocabulary is very good! i can't remember the words he says as there is many of them! but altogether he is good at talking and learning now to put words together such as "kick it" "Thank you" etc.. he can say please but will rarely say it lol!

RECENT MILESTONES: a bit TMI but he recently just figured out when he is going toilet, such as if he needs a "Poo" he will tell me! which is a great step to potty training! he understands you completely now, if you ask him to do something he will do it etc! Also i have introduced "Time Out" which is basically a corner that he stands in if he is acting up or not doing what is is told! basically we give him a warning first, and then if he doesn't listen, its timeout! Ive been trying to do a minute to his age, so its 1minute right now, and then i add a minute if it continues. After his time out Kayden will come over and say sorry with a hug a kiss and i remind him that It wasn't nice and thats why he went to time out.

SUMMER PLANS!!

Hey Guys!

So it's official, after next tuesday (an exam) I'm officially on SUMMER!

YAY!

I'm done and finished second year, to my surprise it went so fast i can't even remember what i did!

I've four months off until I'm in my final year, and these four months will fly by :(

So, I want to make the most of it.. That i'm PLANNING! Omg!

(Now, i do not plan! I've never been good at it, or it never goes my way!)

This Summer it will just be Kayden & I, and a toddler can get so bored and grumpy and hate being stuck inside - abit what Kayden is like at the moment ;) So i want him to enjoy this break as he is older and he's way more active than last year.

I'm blogging this whole planning experience so that i know myself what i have planned and what i have succeeded while planning (If that makes sense)

(Right.. to the point Aisling!!!)

This summer, I do not want to lounge around and do the same thing every day! I want to make the most of the time i have off college and with my little boy!

So, I'm going to list a few thing i want to achieve this summer.

• I want to blog more. (Toddler reviews, outings, ootd, week in pictures, random things that I've always wanting to blog)

• To do more crafts with kayden. I would love to do videos on how to make things. Toddler crafts, baby crafts, gift ideas etc. Maybe put them on youtube... MAYBE!

• Have more daily outings with kayden. I don't drive so it will be hard to go far away (Unless Pietro is off and we go as a family) but more walks and discoveries for kayden!

• Maybe vlog a few things. Now i know! some people don't see the point in vlogging or uploading videos to youtube. But I'm a momma, and i love taking pictures and videos! Just to have them as a keepsake.. I would love if kayden could look back and see what he was like.. they way he acted.. what he wore (Like boys care..) but its for me. not anybody else!!

• SEW! I want to get crafty and make things for myself, Kayden or even gifts! I've a relation who is due a baby and i would love to be able to sew a blanket or make something for the baby to keep! 

• This theory test has always been at the back of my mind.. or people keep reminding me about it (Pietro) but i should really do it, do thats my plan! Pass the theory test and get on the road! 

And.. I think thats it! If i have more goals/plans etc i will note them!

I really do hope i can do this. Some motivation is really needed!

I'M BACK!

Hey Guys!

I'm Back!! :)

It's been such a long time since I blogged last. 

I got caught up with college a lot this semester! between all the briefs - we didn't really get a break.

But since we are coming to the end of this semester of college, I'm now heading into my Summer Break :) YAY!!

I'm currently on a two week easter break, I then have four days to prep my end of year portfolio, and submit it.. and then its the waiting game for the results :( !!

I must say, college this semester has been stressful! It's been hard for personal reasons, I've had a major change and still adjusting. But hopefully by september everything will get back to normal!

The college briefs this semester have actually been fun. ALOT OF HARD WORK, but the end result is great!

I've made my first animation (Not as good as i hoped) 

no excuses but that its done!

I designed an App (Not published on android, just did the design.)

and a few small others that were group work and project design.

My Animation was close to my heart! (Soppy Aisling)

As soon as they mentioned it to us, i knew straight away what i wanted to do.

I had different ideas how to make it but as soon as i went at it, it got harder to make!

So, I painted. I painted every single little thing in the animation and my god i was sick of it!

And then, I had to photograph (while Kayden was running around at some point)

The animation is based of the circle of life. The mother is singing the song to her child as he grows up, he leaves to live his life and returns with his own child, the mother, now a grandmother then sings to the newborn.

BABY MOMMA TAG!

Hey Guys :)

Hope everyone's Christmas & New Year's was as good as mine :)

Kayden did sleep through the new year but that is because he is so young! Poor sod, he slept great that night despite all the noise LOL!

So, recently i seen this "Baby Momma/daddy Tag"

I thought i would do it for my blog, seems pretty cool :)

Question1. What is your son/daughter's name and how old are they?

My son is called Kayden (as most of you know, LOL) & he is 17months old :)

Question2. Do you have any nickname for your son/daughter?

Eh, I actually don't, believe it or not. Unless K-man is counted LOL. 

Question3. Do you like being a Mom?

Yeah i do :), Its great having a little mini-me. I honestly don't mind feeding/changing/bathing, It's great :) seeing all his milestones, saying he's my little boy :')!! 

But, you do have them tantrums LOL!

Question4. What's worst, being spit-up or dirty nappies?

I can honestly say, it's the smell of the dirty nappies haha!!

Question5. Who does the most work? Mom or Dad?

Kayden's is always with me except when in college so i can say i do more work ;)

Question6. What was it like when your Son/Daughter was born?

Ehh, painful LOL But my memory is so fussy, i was so drugged up! When he was placed on me, i was so scared to touch him & i fell asleep while doing skin to skin haha! 

Question7. What is the coolest thing your Son/Daughter has done?

Omg, i can't pin-point!! he's done amazing things.. between walking and talking.. kicking the footballs, climbing his chair and sitting on it! feeding himself.. he's done so much!

Question8. Do you have a Nappy Routine?

Well, i guess. when he wakes up in the morning, before nap-time/after nap-time, and before bed. (&whenever it's a dirty one, or a very full one)

Question9. What dreams or ambitions do you have for your Son/Daughter?

I would love if he filled his dad's dream for playing rugby for Ireland! It would be great to watch him on T.V! I want him to be happy, and to know what the meaning of family is! I will be a proud momma of him no matter what :)

Question10. Describe your Son/Daughter in one word?

Omg, ONE WORD? haha. I would say, Adorable! He's big blue eyes are just Adorable!!

KAYDEN'S CHRISTMAS!

Hey Guys!

Hope everyone has a great christmas & what they wanted :)

Kayden ended up being sick on christmas day :( Poor baby!!

He wasn't too sure about the presents laid out from Santa, wasn't too impressed with his Mammy & Daddy for waking him up either!

So the morning started of around half 8, we woke up Kayden because we couldn't sleep any longer LOL! He wasn't too impressed, so we fed him upstair and i headed to get my camera to record him walking in..

He literally just stood there.. eventually waked up to the presents and found sweets and money HAHA!

HE opened the pressents and played with some, and i put him back to bed as he was unwell, he slept until 12.. which gave us time to get ready and head to My parents for dinner.

We sat down and opened out family presents and kayden get spoilt with footballs and chocolate!!

The rest of the family came over and we sat down for dinner and dessert and then went to open out Kris Kringle! 

Kayden went to bed at 7pm, and slept the whole night and woke at 9.30am! The day exhausted him, but he had so much fun!!

TODDLER UPDATE!!!

Happy Eve of Christmas Eve Folks :)!

So Kayden turned 16months about two/three weeks ago & I never did an Update.

AGE: 16months/1year & 4months

WEIGHT: 24pounds. Which is perfect for his age and gender :)!!

HEIGHT: He is 80cm/31.5inches, Which is right on track :)

SLEEPING: Omg, Sleeping? what is that?! He now tends to wake up at a certain time in the morning.. Not sure if its hunger or pain from teething but he doesn't sleep all night! Momma is exhausted :(!

TEETH: 8 teeth :) !! So in the last month he has had three cut through, and currently working on more.. Uh Oh! 

PLAYING: Same old really, but very fond of playing "Catch", not sure that the other kids understand as he just shouts CATCH and throws the ball at them LOL! He's very into Rugby now, Even when it's on tele.. he will just stand in one spot for the whole match just watching.. Typical little boy :) Loves playing with his Auntie Sinead!!

PERSONALITY: Happy chappy :), but is now having such bad tantrums!! Oh my, He tends to have them if i say "No" or when he doesn't get his way.. but other than that he is a happy little boy, would make anyone smile. Such a chatter box now, from the moment he's awake until he falls asleep.

CURRENT CLOTHING SIZE: defiantly will be in 18-24months by the end of this month!!! Growing so much :(

DIAPER SIZE: Size 4/4+ he wears pampers nappies. Hasn't changed in a while (has such a skinny waist)

WORDS: Cheese, Kick, Boo and Bird. He can say letters too, "H" "S" .. Still working on ABC's

RECENT MILESTONES: He is getting so smart it's crazy, He now tells me he wants to go to bed when he's tired, He can now get his doddies and bottle when i ask him too, will wave night night at everyone. He knows where the bath is, and will ask to have one. He taps the couch to sit on it! he will sit on the floor when you ask him (Brilliant when i'm taking pictures LOL) started to bum shuffle which is the funniest thing to look at LOL! he pulls faces, sticks out his tongue and rolls his eyes haha!

So that is pretty much his month summed up, he turns 17months on the 1st January!!

I will have a blog up of his christmas day, much likely a picture blog!

VISITING SANTA!

Hey guys!

So, This year i've been a bit nervous bringing Kayden to see santa.

Last year, he was so young and didn't have a clue what to do.

But as he is that much older, and does make strange to a few people. I knew the red suit and the facial hair would go down well with him.

Well, Last weekend we decided to bring him to see santa. I wanted to go up to Liffey Valley as it was meant to be good, but that didn't go to plan and we headed to Newbridge instead.

We went to Newbridge last year too, and I don't mind paying a bit for a picture because its a nice memory to have.

We walked up to the grotto and found that it was different, infact it was free to walk up and talk to santa and have a picture taken! (GREAT!!)

So we walked up the little path towards Santa, I was talking to kayden the whole time trying to ease him upto it. Santa was talking to a few kids before us so Kayden was just looking, taking it all in.

The kids walked off, and it was Kaydens time.

LOL it didn't go well, Kayden wasn't impressed and Santa was fairly awkward!!

Santa asked what Kayden's name was..... then turned to me and told me to take a picture!

I was like SERIOUSLY!! there was no, what do you want from santa? have you been a good boy?

I was so disappointed :( 

He made no effort in making kayden feel welcome or even spoke to Kayden himself! 

I will certainly be paying for a visit from now on, I was really looking forward to the whole experince myself!

TODDLER ART & CRAFTS!!

Hey Guys,

As most of you know, I love Art and always have.. so of course I want Kayden to love art too.

I'm also trying to get kayden to draw, and paint..

So, I've been thinking of getting crafty and making toddler art & craft blogs!

It will be a tricky task to cover!

Today, Myself & Kayden are on our own, So it's prefect to start the blogs!

Over the past week or so, i've been thinking of christmas decorations, I would love for Kayden to make some that we could keep and hang on the christmas tree!

I decided to make a Christmas tree out of his hands :)

Tricky with a toddler that wont keep still LOL

So here we go...

Things you need; Green paper, Pencil, Rubber, Scissors (For adult use only) and finger paints. it would also be handy if you have baby wipes and newspaper!

LETS BEGIN!

 Step one: Place, newspaper around the area you are working. Place the toddler hand on the green paper & Draw around the toddlers hand, repeat five more times. If the toddler can draw anround her/his hand themselves, even better :)!!

Step 2: (Adult) cut around the pencil lines, as you can see below. repeat for the rest of hands.

Step 3: When all the hands are cut out, the toddler can now finger paint. Kayden did dots, he copied what i did. You can use what ever colours and design you want.

Step 4: things can get messy around now, the baby wipes will come in handy. Clean hands, clean the area around. (For me, i find its better to clean as you go) after you clean, Use pritt-stick to stick them in the design you would like them to go. The way i glued, was so the fingers looked like branches.

as you can see below, i glued them together aound half way on the hand.

Step 5: After the tree is all glued. i them cute out the bottom of the christmas tree with a box that looks like a present, (Last minute decision) The painted.

 Step 6: I then glued them together, and wrote "Kayden's Second Christmas" and punched a hole on top, i then treaded some tread and hung it up on the tree

Finished product! 

And that's it. Sorry if you find my directions on how to go about making this. I'm not good at explaining LOL.

Christmas & College Update!

Hey Guys :)

20 DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!

I'm So Excited!

This year it's Kayden's second christmas, which is scary. The time is going way to fast.

Last Christmas, We spent christmas eve in my parent's house, waking up on christmas day to lots of presents from santa!

Then went over to Pietro's Parents for christmas dinner and spent the night there as it was Kayden's Auntie's Last christmas together before she headed off to Australia!!

This year, we will be spending Christmas eve in Pietro's parents house waking up Christmas Day to santa :) then heading to my parent's house where we will have family dinner. 

We are having a very BIG family dinner this year, as my grand-parents will be joining, My uncle and his fiancé are flying over from England, and also his fiancé Mum is also coming.

Hopefully next Christmas we will have our own house so we don't need to travel so must, as it is very exhausting, especially since we have a little toddler to think about.

Christmas Shopping is nearly done, have a few more bits to get. I'm so proud of myself for being so organised this year, Last year I think i was even shopping on christmas eve.. which I HATE! so busy and everyone stressed and rushing. 

This weekend, We are putting up the decorations up in my parents house, I think we are the last people to put them up in my estate LOL!

So, I will be doing family photo-shoots, and of course of Kayden on his own too.

Right now, College is being so time-consuming. Everything is due next week, and I have to put my end of semester portfolio together.

I have also be giving a week extension for a brief, it's the first extension I've asked for, and pretty bummed about it because i hate being behind other classmates.

It was a week where I had two presentations, a brief due, and that brief due.. I just had to ask for an extension.. It was hard to get everything done with a toddler. 

But, i'm on track now! YAY!
